The Nobel Peace Prize Concert
In an effort to bring diverse cultural voices to global stages, the Mashoor team collaborated with the Nobel Peace Prize Concert to elevate a number of performers from under-represented regions to celebrate the universal themes of peace, resilience, and cultural diversity. This annual concert, featuring an array of international musicians, has consistently bridged divides by showcasing artists from various backgrounds, reflecting the Nobel Peace Prize’s mission of promoting global harmony. Mashoor’s creator partnership included producing and sharing behind-the-scenes interviews and video stories of performers who bring cultural narratives to life, creating a space for underrepresented voices to share their messages of peace and unity.
Gorillaz x The Orchestra of Syrian Musicians
Mashoor team helped produce a show in London’s Southbank Centre with the Gorillaz’ Damon Albarn titled Africa Express presents: The Orchestra of Syrian Musicians & Guests. We worked with the Orchestra of Syrian Musicians, an ensemble of talented Syrian musicians whose artistry embodies cultural survival amidst displacement. Following years of conflict in Syria, these musicians were brought together to perform with a diverse array of global artists, creating an emotional and transcendent experience. The project showcased the resilience of Syrian music, blending traditional Arabic compositions with contemporary sounds from around the world.
